We took home a whole bunch of positive impressions, new acquaintances and potential partnerships.

In the four days of the fair, our stand was visited by over a thousand people. These visitors got to know our company, staff members and were able to examine our displayed extra-long prime grade timber.

Last but not least, our visitors could also try Slavonian acorn ham, wine, and other delicacies from our forests. After all, the best deals are concluded over good food or a glass of wine…

With the start of the new year auric timber d.o.o. has modernized the method of pack measurement using a photo measuring device called Control Tally (CT). CT is a computer measuring system that uses advanced algorithms to calculate the number of boards, the individual widths and resultant volume of packs. This is achieved by extremely high precision photographic measurement, far exceeding any manual measurement system. Fast, efficient and transparent measurement, gives both Auric as a producer and you, our client as a consumer total confidence in the measurement.  This system is unique to Auric and again underlines our goal to have the most modern technology and efficient systems in the international wood industry.

On January 3^rd, 2019, we have renamed “Slavonski hrast d.o.o.” to “auric timber d.o.o.”, in the course of rebranding all companies within the group “auric slavonian oak products”. It includes the following companies: auric barrels d.o.o., auric consulting, auric forest d.o.o., auric nature d.o.o., auric timber d.o.o. and auric wood products d.o.o. All sister companies were founded on the basis of broad experience in the forest and wood industry. They complement each other and share the same values that are rooted in sustainable forestry and natural rejuvenation, combined with the goal to achieve highest product quality. The name “auric” derives from Latin (“aureus”) and means “golden”; it relates to the widely known, gold-colored wood of the Slavonian oak. The brand “auric” stands for the highest quality of all products offered by the auric group.
