AB Quality
Sawn square edged timber graded to Prime Grade requirements but only on the better face. This grade is ideal for products and applications where only one face of the board will be visible, such as tables, flooring, cladding, moulding, etc.

20% of the boards can have one knot per meter of length on one face. On the back face there are no limitations.

20% of the boards can have one knot per board on one face. On the back face there are no limitations.
Dead knots
20% of the boards can have one knot per board of max. 20 mm diameter on one face. On the back face there are no limitations.
Sapwood
Max. 20% width of the board on the better face. On the back face there are no limitations.
Heart
Not allowed.
Straightness
Max. 5 mm side bend per meter of length allowed.
Cracks
Some occasional surface cracks on one side of the board are allowed. End cracks allowed up to 100 mm on the board.
Worm
Not allowed.
